Welcome to my new, and first blog. This blog is being created to fulfill a requirement for a technology in education class. Having said that, I want you to know that I have chosen a topic that I feel will be interesting and worthy of continuing past this particular project.
I have been in love with jazz music for a long time and always felt as if jazz was meant to be played on the guitar. The sound of jazz on an arch top guitar is just perfect. It rings in my ears and somehow makes sense. It just feels right and recently I have added the mandolin to this short list of instruments that jazz was meant for. This recent addition has me excited because of all the new possibilities for learning and exploration.
It is my goal in this blog to share this exploration, this learning process with you. I will share the information as i find it myself and we can learn about jazz music played on the mandolin together. Feel free to comment and to make suggestions along the way and thank you for your interest so far.
